You must be older than me, Paul. I didn't get to see Zeppelin until 1977.

You're four years older than me. I was 15 at my Zeppelin Concert (Capital Center- Landover, MD)

It’s cool to put “the” in front of bands that don’t usually have them

Quote:
medley incl. Let That Boy Boogie, Boppin' the Blues, Hello Mary Lou, Going Down Slow
Those medleys sucked the ding dong btw

I don't remember the medley (it was 45 years ago after all), but I will say that Zep was the best show I'd ever seen at that time, until Jethro Tull utterly blew my mind summer of 1975, to this day the greatest show I've ever seen.

Boy did those two bands hate each other.

I never saw Led Zep or J Tull; the best concerts I saw were probably Neil Young, Captain Beefheart, Dylan, Soft Machine and Roy Buchanan.

Kinda hard to do on a Zeppelin thread.

Nice, I saw The Magic Band on their last American tour which is as close as I could have ever gotten to seeing Beef live. They were surprisingly on point and top 3 concert material for me.

What year did you see Soft Machine in? Also re: less nauseating direction, you do know what a soft machine is right ?
