I've used Protools. Actually took a college class for it. Determined that it was overly and unnecessarily complex. Not in the "I don't understand what I'm doing" realm, but the "I don't understand why they put this here, and why they designed this how they did" realm.

For all the outrageous, random differences in Protools, in a semester of legitimate instruction on it, I truly came to the realization that the only reason it's the "industry standard" is because everyone thinks it is.
It offers nothing greater than Sonar except for ONE thing. It has better automation. That's it.

I wish someone out there actually did a speed test of how long it takes to set up and route to an instrument bus in Protools vs. Sonar.
Or just calmly demonstrated how un-intuitive Protool design is.

At least in Sonar, you can customize your workflow.
Oh, and the quality isn't any different. DAWs don't have inherent quality differences. It's about what you do with it that makes the difference. And personally, I find it a lot easier to get my results with Sonar.

Pretty tasty sounds.

Yep. You should use it, that way when I post our stuff, you can pretend you're a random guy that likes it.

Music done to one of my paintings. the song was written on a very drunk night out.
We haven't played it live yet because we don't remember the lyrics.
