Default Kirby's 10-Track-2

Put the songs you want to include in a .rar or a .zip file.
Go to an upload site [zshare.net or megaupload.com] and upload it there.
They provide you with a link.

Kirby's 10-Track-2

Uncommon Valor: A Vietnam Story : Jedi Mind Tricks ft. R.A. The Rugged Man
I picked this track, more-so for R.A. The Rugged Man's verse, even though I really like JMT. R.A. kills this track, while basing his verse off of his father's experience in the Vietnam war.

Emily : Pigeon John
We've heard songs, especially from the kids point of view, of a father leaving them. This is the other side. The father's point of view of leaving a daughter.

Here I Come : The Roots ft. Malik B. and Dice Raw
Anything from The Roots is amazing. Black Thought always gives great lyrics. One of my personal favorites

The Death Of Chris Palko : Cage ft. Camu Tao [rest in peace]
I don't know why, but this song has stuck on me lately. I've been listening to it a lot, and I like how Cage arranges his words, and what he does with them. Camu Tao brings great lyrics as always. Rest In Peace Camu Tao.

A Part Of Me : Murs
One of the new Murs tracks. I love it. It's more personal than some of the others, and that brings it to be one of my favorites off of the new album.

In Her Music Box : Atmosphere
I can't believe I left this one off the other mix. This is probably one of my favorite tracks off of "When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That **** Gold".

Always Coming Back Home To You : Atmosphere
One of my favorite songs. Ever. 'Nuff Said. Just listen.

Come Gangsta : Tech N9ne
I picked this one, more of how Tech N9ne arranged his words in it. I love how he can do perfectly with the beat. He knows when to say something and how to say it. It's what makes him one of the best.

This Is Me : Tech N9ne
Talking about, while being semi-modest, how he thinks he's one of the best, but is held down because he's real. Great Track. One of my personal favorites.

Fries [RMX] : Mr. Lif
Mr. Lif is a beastly rapper. That's all you can say about him. This song is political, and everything juicy like that.

First of all big up Wayfarer for a really good one, the presentation of the post just sealed the deal for me. track-by-track soon come

Oh you guessed it. For want of a concept I set my iTunes (soon to be winamp if that doesn't anger me) to party shuffle and... bleh. Some oh-so-minor quality control, as it turned out, was necessary; I skipped a few tracks that I imagine most of you reprobates already have (some Blur here, an Elliott Smith there).

Apart from that it's not a selection I'd have ideally picked but pleasingly random
Depressingly, you can really tell it's my iTunes...

No particular order:

Lightning - Iration Steppas meets D.Rootical
I Hate Chilren - Adolescents
Beacon - Erase Errata
God Bless The Child - Fifty Foot Hose
Nothing - Flipper
Sob Sob Story - The Chesterfields
Love Will Make A Better You - Love Live Life + One
Back In Time - P Money
Music Takes You - Blame
Birth and Death - Vic Godard & the Subway Sect

Re Wayfarer's introduction to desert rock.
I feel a track by track would kind of defeat the point of this mix, the sequencing and continuity made it a hypnotic pleasure to listen to, start to finish. I considered myself a bit of a stoner-metal/rock fan before but clearly a piss-poor one because I'd not heard any of the tracks on here (yes even the QOTSA one) :p

I could go on to say how the mammoth riff-age and bombastic song lengths are nicely broken up by the instrumentals; but there's no point because theme and rhythm seems consistent , and it has the effect of a well-mixed DJ set... indeed, it's difficult to tell when one track ends and the other begins.

Top marks all round then. I have an iTunes section for all the MB 10-tracks and this one is getting wheeled alot. An unfortunate side effect is the certain cravings this mix induces... rah

edit: though my highlight is probably the Unida track... what a ****ing band

D/l Kirby's underground hip-hop one next, looking forward to this.

Second one I made is great, although the first is better.

I like Molecule's Shuffle method, never thought of doing that (doink).

I'll up one of those next, maybe.

Too bad I can't use the internet on Windows (I'm on Linux right now) because some file I don't know about is supposedly "sending spam emails", according to my internet provider.

I ran AVG, another free virus thing, but it didn't catch anything. Haven't run CCleaner (which I have), though. Maybe I should try that.

I'm thinking of backing up a lot of my files (music, photos, etc, ones that I really need) and wiping out windows, and just starting over. It's been really shitty ever since I took over it.

ad aware and The home of Spybot-S&D! between them usually find the problem. AVG is probably the virus checker but this sounds like a trojan or ad ware to me.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I'll try those.
