It's not often I'm willing to bitch about the game itself, last night proved that there are kinks in the rules the NHL still has to work out by itself.

The sly goaltender interference in the middle of the third (which the refs missed) resulted in a goal. That doesn't really make me mad. What pisses me off is the NHL refused to look at it because it was deemed "unreviewable," when it's pretty obvious that it was a complete horseshit goal to begin with.

This abridgment of fair play on the puck is a stain on the NHL and deserves to be dealt with by its staff. It invites poor officiating and does absolutely nothing when the refs miss a call or take it upon themselves to issue even-up penalties. Just take a look at 4:40:

I watched some of that game, and yeah, that was some BS. Better for Buffalo, all these close East games evening out the points.

Big win against the Sens last night. Burr got his 5th shorty of the year to lead the league. We got Calgary up tonight..always a good game. April 10th a couple buddies and I are going to the Calgary game in Vancouver...should be a good night.

Damn, Ovie wrecked Brian Campbell.

This playoff race is going to be pretty intense.

Yeah, I heard about that. Apparently Campbell is out for the season, Ovie should get hit with at least a two-game suspension, the NHL haven't issued anything yet. I was under the impression it was an automatic after three game misconducts.

I agree, actually suspend him for the rest of the season and let someone else catch up in pts! Have you actually seen the hit?
