My Lightning are looking tight in the pre-season. We'll see how the Sabres look with their upgraded roster.

How did the Sabres up the roster? I haven't followed too intently this offseason, but I do know they didn't re-sign Tallinder/Lydman which really helped out Miller last year, and I didn't see any new forwards that got me giddy.

Id love to be able to see my Nucks play San Jose this year. I cant get enough of watchin Thornton and Marleau...preferably in the red and white..but I think those two are in the tops for the elite two-way forwards in the league.

Im predicting 82 wins for my boys this year..

Im pretty choked at the departure of Shane Obrien recently though...I cant believe Alberts got a spot over him..Once Salo is back, even he wont have a spot though. A lot of people are thinking pretty highly of us once again this year...so if we can get past the second round....that deadly...second...round.

By and large, you guys are favorites to at least reach- and mostly, to win- the Stanley Cup.

For my money I like Detroit, Vancouver, or LA to reach the SC in that order. Washington, Boston out East.

Edmonton was unreaaaal to watch last night...couple tussles...Eberle puttin two in, first was an absolute beauty. And then for Ivanins to get KO'd big time in the 3rd period was the cherry on top. Im gonna keep a close eye on the Oil this year...between Eberle, Hall, Cogliano, and Paajarvi...the speed is incedible. None of them have anything on Raymond...but who does.

My cousin used to be really close friends with Rick Nash in high school .

That goal was amazing.. The second defender looked like he was struggling to stay awake after that dangle haha.

Edmonton is going to leave teams dead on the ice in a few years because guys' heads will be exploding with the kind of stuff that team will be doing.

So pumped. Sabs took down Ottawa last night. The team that always beats us. Ennis got a couple assists.
