The Giants are good but just cant crown them as the best team right now. Even though they scorched the 9ers. I think if they would have game planned better and included vernon davis more in the scheme of things it would have turned out different. Im sure they will meet again in the playoffs. Of course I really dislike the Giants so that does compromise my better judgment. I hate to give them any credit even when its due.

A tad more Vernon Davis wouldn't be a substantial improvement over 3pts.

Lol By utilizing him more I think it would free up others as well who struggle to get going when he's taken out of the game. Cause and effect but again its just my opinion.

I think the 49ers are the most talented team, and have the best shot at winning the Superbowl when they hit their stride, but I think you have to put the Giants as the number 1 team as far as power rankings go (I'm absolutely not buying the Falcons squeaking by every week against a weak schedule). That's more a discredit to the rest of the league rather than a credit to the Giants though; there really isn't a dominant team right now.

The Giants are put together, but so are the Packers, 9ers, and not even mentioning the AFC atm.

I'd say the league is too competitive right now to declare anyone a favorite.

I could make a strong argument for about 10-12 teams right now on the subject of their SB chances.

Bloozcrooz 10-17-2012 09:26 PM

Speaking of AFC predictions...anyone have any or care to speculate?

Forward To Death 10-17-2012 10:35 PM

I think New England gets their act together, and same for Denver. I think the Steelers and Ravens could limp into the playoffs, but both teams need to find replacements for aging vets.

ThePhanastasio 10-17-2012 11:25 PM

For the first half of every game, the Chargers have been looking really good. They kind of go to sleep in the third, and just completely **** their pants and choke in the fourth. Not something I like to see.

With that said, I still think they're overall looking better this year than they did most of last season...even if there's nary a soul to be seen blocking for Rivers. >:(

Bloozcrooz 10-18-2012 10:51 AM

Yeah you can never count New England out of anything and Peyton is looking better each game. I think with the loss of Ray Lewis that the Ravens are done.

Bears v Lions Monday night. It's only Thursday, and I can't wait until the weekend is over? Look at what Football has done to me...

Any thoughts/predictions on the Monday night game?
