Do you have a problem with that way of thinking? I'm not sure if you were complaining about the way things are or just stating it as a matter of fact.
I don't have a problem with it. |
I don't. That's the way it is. That's what I was telling our UK friend.

Screw that guy!

The quality of the team isn't the same as the size of the franchise or how big the name is. One of the best examples I can give is Rangers FC. They haven't competed in the top division of Scottish football for a few years now. Does it mean they are no longer a big club? No. They are massive. They are probably one of the top 10 clubs in the world. Does it mean their current playing staff are shit and they would lose to most decent teams? Well, yeah. Or even someone like Tiger Woods - Official World Golf Ranking - Ranking If Real Madrid somehow got relegated to the third division would it mean they aren't a big club any more? No. Quote:
EDIT: Actually, it doesn't matter I'll just ask an English person who follows NFL to give me some insight. |
Idk what you guys were even talking about i was just responding to Exo, id have to go back and read the whole convo. I realize the last quote is an exaggeration but given time chances are the majority would be great.

How about this Monkey...
American Football and Football are two totally different things with two totally different agendas and cultures surrounding their "clubs"/"teams". Nobody over here gives a sh*t about anything other than what are you doing now. Your question can't be answered by NFL fans because it's a question posed for another sport. We don't care about that stuff. If you want me to tell you how many estimated fans each team has then I'd have to google it because nobody knows that. As far as what you're talking about...it's an entirely different thing over here. There is no invisible allegiance that can be formulated into words to answer your question. I think its a culture misunderstanding. Your question is coming off like "How good is that movie?" Then I answer with "Well it won these awards, and made this much money in sales and stuff..." and then you're going "No, I mean how GOOD is it?" You're asking a valid question. It just can't be answered in terms you'd understand as a non-NFL fan. The best I can do is that the Browns have a lot of loyal fans who still drag their depressed bodies to the stadium to watch their sh*t team lose every week. Beyond that I don't know how to answer your question. |
Did anybody else watch the packers come back tonight? Holy **** respect to that packers team.
