It depends on what you mean by a "bigger stage." But from a theoretical standpoint, I think that the AFC Championship game would be the bigger stage. I'm a huge fan of defense. The veterans/experts/masters know that defense is a lot more important than offense. The Titans have some of the best defensive strategies in the league (they're standing right next to the Steelers.) The Chiefs also have a very good defense (not perfect, but still part of the Grade-A class.) I think that the AFC championship game would be more of a fun game to watch than the NFC showdown.

Like I said before, these teams are not even close. This Packers team is one of the worst 13-3 teams of all-time

Football’s such a weird game. The season is short and every matchup is a best-of-1 so anything can happen. Probably a mixture of underestimating ATL, the team was especially tired or jetlagged, ATL was playing desperate to save Dan Quinn’s job, etc etc. If they played 100 times SF probably wins 85 or more. Just like how the Giants beat the otherwise 18-0 Patriots in the Super Bowl. They were absolutely not the better team, they just happened to pull out some magic that day
