I was dumbfounded that the Bears decided to throw on 2nd down when the Bucs had one timeout left giving Brady over a minute to get into field goal range. It's been 20 years and teams STILL give Brady too much time. Dumbasses.

Then Brady forgot how to count and I realized, well, it's been 20 years.

I thought they were finished after that stupid decision. The Bears defense (gotta spell it out for Batlord) being able to hold TB to 16 seconds and then about 30 seconds for their last two possessions was they key to that win. As usual, the defense and special teams getting it done.

Offense is lacking super crazy talent guys besides Allen Robinson but the playcalling is good enough to win games back by good defense and special teams. Reminds me of my niners last year.

The game that just finished proved to be the Game of the Day for me. Seahawks just beat the Vikings 27-26.

The Wilson-Metcalf connection is beautiful. Pulled out a nice game ending TD in the last one and a half minute of tonight’s contest. Hawks now 5-0

I honestly didn't watch that one. I am highly surprised that it was that close. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I think I made a prediction earlier in this thread that the Vikings would be the winners of the NFC championship before the season started. I should know better than to bet on the Vikings. The fact that it was that close gives me hope that they're improving though. The Hawks are the real deal and Wilson is a hell of a QB.

Titans will have to run on Buffalo as their premier pass catchers are mostly out on IR or coming back from injury (A.J. Brown). The young gungs will have to step up. Thing is, teams have been able to pass on Buffalo. To an embarrassing extent. Bills have been able to stow the run, though. I don't pretend to know what Tennessee has in store for the Bills offense, however. Somebody said "Clowney vs Everyone!". :laughing: Maybe not but it will probably seem like it.

So Russell Wilson throws a rare pick, caught by cardinals' safety Budda Baker who proceeds to take the rock 90 yards down the other way - and would have scored were it not for a phenomenal shadow run by Seahawks' wide receiver, DJ Metcalf, who finally tackled Baker before he could make the endzone. Seattle did not score on the possession. Awesome play. 13-7, Hawks (late second quarter).

Man the ending of that game last night was a trip. Overtime play where TDS were taken back for penalties, missed and near-missed field goals and finally running the clock out for a Cardinals victory. First Seahawks loss. Didn’t think they’d go undefeated.

I was excited about the Iowa game Saturday but just did google updates and got to stay listening to music. I watched the highlights after the game.
