The taunting rules are such a joke.

Yup, they really are. They are trying to disconnect the heart and the emotions from the game. I mean, I get some taunting calls but their "emphasis" on it this year is ridiculous and it's gotten to the point where it's becoming a deciding factor in games. I get trying to clean up your product and everything but this is just utterly ridiculous and unnecessary.

That means I can safely go outside and run some errands now.

Packers/Ravens was a great game - I liked the decision to go for it at the end, but didn't really like the playcall.

And with the Patriots losing and the Titans losing - the Chiefs are now in the driver's seat for the 1 seed. It didn't look possible back when they were at 3-4. Go Chiefs!

The way Mahomes was playing (and not playing) earlier in the season didn't help either. Can't help but admire KC.

Was rooting for a Ravens upset. Rodgers is a bit too cocky now or has he always been this way and I just wasn't looking? Either way, they'll choke before getting to the SB.

And any team that can prevent a Buccaneers SB appearance has my vote. heh

I saw that this morning. I really thought he had already passed. I feel dumb.

Wtf I was sure he was dead too.

It's really ****ing weird because during Christmas, my brother got me Madden 22 for PS5 and my Dad was like: "I wonder how much Madden makes off these games?" - to which I replied: "Nothing right? Isn't he dead?" - and he informed me: "No, not yet at least". He died two days later. Very weird.

New Year's matchups are kinda meh. I'm a Northeast Corridor dude so the Eagles/Washington Team game at 1 looks interesting. Forget the Giants-Bears and Jets-Bucs. Slaughterhouse stuff. Rams-Ravens'll be competitive. The marquee matchup, course, is the rematch packers-Vikings game at 8. Meh. :)

Bears fire Matt Nagy, Ryan Pace after disappointing season

I gotta give him some props though. He did handle himself with almost super-human dignity in the face of termination, but that won't make his play calls any less horrendous. Even in this last game the bears should have had 6 points more than they showed on the board.

Mmmm. Must admit I haven't kept up with Chi-Town. Their sports fans catch a break. How are the Bulls doin this season? :o:
