I'm not that convinced by Brazil either.

It may have something to do with 2 Man City rejects in their frontline.

I don't know if it's just familiarity but they just don't have the aura of Brazil teams of the past.

Not to mention that professsional flop known as Julio Baptista as well. Only Luis Fabiano looks like a dangerous player to me - a far cry from the old Ronaldo-Rivaldo-Ronaldinho forward line of yesteryear.

Robinho-Kaka-Luis Fabiano I think are very good, not as glam as the three "R`s" but good enough to score the goals to win a world cup. Dunga`s Brazil are a mirror image of Dunga the player, designed to get results anyway possible and to be fair they do get those results in a ruthless fashion.

We'll see I suppose. Chile-Brazil looks like it'll be a really interesting tie - hope the former manage to come out on the other side of that one.

Only just seen the replay of Torres' dive via the BBC's world cup site. The phrase 'total fucking disgrace' comes to mind. If there was any justice in football, FIFA'd suspend him for the last 16 game because of that.

Historically Chile have been dire against Brazil and I can`t see them beating Brazil either, especially with the players they are going to lose.

We`ve now got 2 classic second round matches: England v Germany and Spain v Portugal along with 2 great footballing matches in Brazil v Chile and Argentina v Mexico. The other 3 matches between USA v Ghana, Japan v Paraguay and Sth Korea v Uruguay are hard to predict and could well end up as tedious affairs. Holland V Slovakia!!! Can Slovakia cause another huge upset naaaaaaaaaaah I just can`t see it.

Robinho especially looked great against North Korea. I know they are far from a great side but it didnt matter who the opposition was in his time with Man City, he just looked disinterested and happy to collect his wages.

I think there was problems with in the club, he perhaps didn't feel loved. Players with Robinho's egos need to feel like they're the main man, that flair player.. or they won't like it. He was expected to go on the wing, and do his bit for the team. Mismanaged, he would've been happy in a free roam role.

With Brazil, it's his country so they could play him anywhere and he'd try, because almost veryone loves their country..

Yeah you may have a point but its still no excuse. Rooney would play left-back if you asked him to.

Rooney doesn't have the ego, hence why Ronaldo was our main flair player.. Rooney was just part of the team.

Robinho has that Ronaldo ego, you have to manage that to make the best of it. It's not right, but it's the way it is.
