The traditional world pecking order has gone right out of the window in this World Cup.
Good stuff.

Hmm...maybe I should watch this game after all.

Should be a great knockout tournament at this rate. Hopefully we'll have another WC2002 situation on our hands.

From a shit World Cup.. It's become very good. The start was terrible, after the second game it's been great. Except for England's second game..

Isn't it always the same?
The truly memorable world cup classics are reserved for the knock-out stages.

What did Harry Redknapp just say at half time? Who said Bendtner was the best centre forward in the world?

I remember 2002 being epic from start to finish.. France getting beaten 1-0 by an attacking Senegal if I remember rightly.

I have high hopes, England vs Germany 2010. Not just a game, the nation's pride is on the line. Can we do it? holding on against Slovenia doesn't fill me with great hope. Although it could've been 3-0 if Rooney hadn't been unlucky and Defoe wasn't a clown.

Google has just informed me that it was Nicklas Bendtner himself that said this. Well, he said he was ONE of the best strikers in the world. Sorry mate but you're utter shit as far as im concerned.

Of course we can. Put it this way - Germany edged past Ghana and lost to Serbia in getting to the second round. They won't exactly be brimming confidence themselves. Plus their backline's not exactly spoilt for pace - something Gerrard and Rooney's linking up, as well as Defoe's running and Milner's crossing, can easily exploit.
