And the performance your referring to was his comeback from injury match...not fully fit.
He's strong, brave, a great header of a ball and capable of scoring from corners. Something Ferdinand has yet to do in his entire United career.

I have to say that Vidic is immense. One of the best defenders in the world and praise for the scum is rare for me :D

for some reason he doesn't give that impression of that unbeatable centre-back... like ferdinand or puyol or terry...he reminds me of carragher a lot...good players who loose concentration too often and cost their team...as for his scoring ability, yeah it's pretty impressive for a defender

Terry isn't that great a defender. He's a blood & thunder player. He'll stick his neck in , throw his body about & generally make last ditch tackles. Effective , but not a great player.

The thing is though if his positioning was any good in the first place he wouldn't need to do any of that. Comparing Vidic to Terry is like comparing Paolo Maldini to Terry Butcher.

It's a pretty tense time right now, it can only be all wins now and even then it's not for sure.

I might start rooting for my new home town Colchester now since there's a fair chance they'll be in the championship and Norwich won't :(
