Signed photo of Thierry Henry is the closest I have to "memorabilia".

Nice. The one of Moore would be getting framed and stuck on a wall. Would never sell that.

Good talking point though anyone else got any decent football memorabilia?

I mainly collect cards and I have a few figurines. Such as the following.

Diego MARADONA Figure 6" Tall Fanatico Football Soccer No Ftchamps Argentina | eBay

Never done that. Collect my stubs though, dunno why cos they're not worth anything.

I ain't got anything like what Urban posted, got a 1991 Cup Winners Cup ball (Man Utd vs Barca) signed by the MU team, a letter off Ferguson and a Villa shirt (2007) signed by the team, that's about it.

Wish I would've followed Villa more seriously when I was younger (during my glory hunting years of 1997 - 2011).

That's it for another year then.

Villa beating Bayern Munich in the European Cup was the first European game I can remember watching.
Can still remember it vividly too, the keeper going off after a few minutes, Withe's goal.
Funny how these things stick in your mind.

:)

I've heard the tales of that night in Rotterdam a thousand times and watched Withe's goal many times more.

Dortmund vs Man Utd (both legs) for me, that would've been 1997. I can remember the '94 World Cup happening but no matches, my dad didn't let me watch the telly cos the football was on & I remember being upset over it.

The first match I understood was probably England vs Germany in the Euros in '96. Uri Gellar was on GMTV that morning, orange button on the screen telling people to touch it and that "England will win" :D

My first England game was vs France at the 82 World Cup with Bryan Robson's 27 second goal.
That was the reason I wore an England shirt with the number 16 on it for about the next 8 years.

I actually got tickets to the Rose Bowl final Italy vs Brazil in 94. I sold em when the price **** up astronomically. Being that I was rooting for Italy and Baggio was one of my favorite players alltime I gotta say I made the right decision, when you consider the outcome.
