Oh and you should probably hear this too. It's metallic hardcore that could've been the best Pantera album ever if Pantera weren't ****ty goons more concerned with sounding self-consciously badass than using balls-heavy riffs to express nihilistic rage and misanthropy.

Bat, did you have to Google Coventry or had you actually heard of it?

I know that Coventry is a thing but I did Google where Lee Dorian was from. If you'd asked me what it was though I'd have probably told you it was a neighborhood in London and put a question mark at the end.

Not so surprisingly by now, I also like this one. Not as good as the best of the few previous things you showed me, but I can get on board with this for sure. Reminds me a bit of this all-female, Swedish punk/metalcore band I like called Donuts ("Age of the Circle" being a good album. Might turn some people off with the sort of feminist lyrics. I think they're a fun band.).

Never got into Pantera. Cemetary Gates is okay. A neat riff here or there... eh... I never really cared about this band. Anselmo is also a total moron.

Mad ting.

Maybe people know of it because of the saying, being sent to Coventry.

And Coventry City FC. Their FA Cup win really put their city on the map more than The Specials did.

Not bad, but the vocals are ****.

I know. Totally out of tune. I somehow got used to it and just enjoy the energy and feel of their music. I like the vocals in a weird sort of way where I almost appreciate how terrible they are. It was harder for me to deal with on their follow up albu where the vocals dominate the mix more...

But I still enjoy the band. I just have to be in a very specific mood.

Give me your worst. I'll review your entire discography if you make me cry.

I thought that "this is must be what all metal sounds like to elphenor" was pretty cutting. I'd follow up but I really really don't want to listen to them again after trying so many times to give that album a fair shot.
