game is still 0-0 atm, meaning that they're on par to be sent home. can't imagine that happens though. anything less than semi finals would be a disappointment for them.

They always have a chance really. They don't have a squad that wows me but they have enough quality and pedigree to not write them off. They weren't fancied in 2006 when they went on to win it.

I wouldn't have them in the top 3 favourites though.

Shouldn't that be Liverpool fans? I know Beckham and Scholes were great, but only Gerrard comes close to Sir. Frank.

Q-Man's top 3:

France
Germany
Brazil

once playoffs are over we should do a bracket prediction thread.

Them as well. But there is definitely the idea that a lot of MU fans have that Scholes was horrifically underrated and was actually better than Zidane, Messi and Jesus. Lovable, shy, underrated Scholesy

i say this with the utmost sincerity, manchester united fans are the most naive people on earth. i've gotten so much **** over the last few years for saying Fellani isn't worth keeping around. in their minds once a player plays for us he's world class. when he leaves he's worthless. i understand that it's loyalty and fandom, but you can at least be sensible.

i'm still seeing fans say our recent run of form is the boards fault and not Jose's. saying he should've been given more money to spend

The atmosphere seems a bit toxic. The Italians are getting frustrated.

It's not happening for Italy. I want a goal so I can hear the San Siro roar

Credit to Sweden if they pull this off.

I suppose it'll be good to see Ibrahimovic in the World Cup (as he will come out of retirement within 0.2 seconds of qualification).
