We played a temp course created on some property that a bar owns. The bar already had a ton of outdoor games contained in the beer garden, bean bags, horseshoes, volleyball, ect., but they also had a few acres that extended beyond, so we brought out the portable baskets and created an event for the evening. In a 3-way tie for 1st I came up short and dropped to 3rd since metal hits and points also counted and one dude hit 2 aces and the other hit metal twice. I only hit metal once, so phhhhht. lol T'was a great time indeed.

We did the bar course again last night. I was tied for the lead going into the last round of 6 holes, but I fell off with a couple bad throws. I did win the farthest putting contest though and won a putter. I gave that to the kid that lives on the property, since he told me the putter I gave him last time was stolen.

I didn't sign up for Ledgestone this year since I need the vacay days for Hawaii, but a lot of my friends are out there ready to take home some hardware and cash. Here's a friend of mine on the feature card live round 1. Kacie Glade is a local womens pro from around here, and I'm rooting her on from work today:

Also, that's^ Sunset Hills disc golf and ball golf course which is the only course I've ever had the pleasure of using a golf cart during my rounds. Kinda different. The first time I played it was 2 years ago and I was hung over real bad from trying to keep up with the youngsters at the hotel party the night before. Played like ****, but I'd just plop down in the passengers side, kick my feet up and say "Next hole, Jeeves" to the dude on my card.

Barely had time to play disc golf since the winter or it's been ungodly hot so I'm extra out of practice but finally got in half a round before the humidity and mosquitoes drove us back to the car. And I found a Champion Destroyer with no phone number that I promptly almost threw into the swamp cause I guess it's a disc with mad heiser. Good times.

Also had a fart so good it left my butt itching until I got home for a wipe.

Now I'm just thinking about the kitten hitting the rim and trying to hold on and pull itself up and into the basket and it's the last hole of the biggest tournament of the year and you can hear a pin drop in that crowd.
