No HIO's on film though. I have 9 total. Lots of chain-outs.

Not sure what a Hols is but thanks?

Denver was nice. Playing at 8300 ft above sea level out in the mountains was a challenge but lots of fun and beautiful.

I started out in Des Moines with a B-Day round put together by my good friend Matt. Sunday Drivers is the club and these guys can throw a mile.

An "Almost B-day Ace". I chained out, or bounced off the chains on my drive (yellow disc), but I'll take it!

The AirBnB I stayed at was incredible:

After Des Moines, I drove another 5 hours to Kearney NE to stay for the night and play Cottonmill DGC. I left my favorite disc in the basket of the last hole, but luckily it was there the next morning. Whew!

Then I finally made it to Denver.

View from the Hotel room:

I took a scooter ride through downtown to Billys Gourmet Hotdogs. One of the funnest rides I've done in a while, and my friend took a pic of me trying to figure out the Lime rental stuff on my phone:

...continued from previous post:

We stayed a few blocks from Sculpture Park, where Goose played about a month earlier:

We took in some sights at the Denver Botanic Gardens:

Then, it was time to golf. Birds Nest DGC was nice:

...but there's nothing like Beaver Ranch. Breathtaking views and some tough lines. As they say, the pics don't do it justice:

Back to work I go...

I almost forgot... the PDF I made for navigating and planning (Yorke would be so very proud of me):

Planktons 2021 Disc Golf Vacation Map

Click on the locations to see the places I stayed at.

Awesome photos! B-day ace would have been cool. Never thought about courses that are in mountains or hilly areas too

Hey thanks!

It was a blind basket and I heard the chains rattle, it just didn't stick.

Using elevation to shape holes makes a great DG course, but you need a large area that has that feature.
