You're gonna have to change the pots in those teles with the Wide Range buckers as the tone of the pickups are very dark and muddy, well unless you like that kind of thing. Well anyway, 1 meg pots would do probably the trick.

I have a tele custom (yes, just one tele) and it has a standard telecaster bridge pickup and a Wide Range humbucker in neck. I want to get a standard telecaster but, that's gonna have to wait after I get a few things.

I have a 7 piece pearl export series black finish drum kit. With a 20 inch Zildjian ride, 16 inch Zildjian rock crash, 8 inch Zildjian splash and 14 inch Sabian hats.

What I want is a 7 piece Yamaha Stage Custom

I let my cousin borrow my electric, amp, and all my pedals. He traded them all away for pills.

Oh my GOD dude...I don't care if it was family, if that happened to me I would have turned that ass hole in and at least given him a drug charge or something. You don't just go and sell someone's music equipment.

Selling DVD players and other electronics is ****ty as well, but my music equipment is very personal and sentimental...if I let someone borrow it, that would show that I trusted that person a lot. Words can't describe the **** storm selling it all off would cause.

Yeah, he got stuck in the mouth when he told me, in front of his parents.

It was probably my favorite material item. He stole from his parents, brother, friends, everyone. He is out of rehab now, and trying to make it up to us all. I went to the dealers house and searched the whole place, but he already sold it all off. He just started working and knows he needs to buy me all new stuff.

that's not cool at all. is there anyway to recover any of it (as in does he even remember who / where he offloaded it?) as much as the vigilantism feels appropriate YOU will end up in more crap if you go that route.

what kind of living situation is he in? how far removed from living with his folks?

it's kind of lame and borderline prick-ish but if the kid can't pay up, the parents usually can - depending on the situation. if he's just a reflection of the screwups that made him then it's a dead end, on the other hand if he's just rebelling against the squares that forced him into existence and they're refusing to see that little Timmy actually has a problem now might be a good time to visit Auntie and give her a reality check (and bill).

small claims court is also an option but likely far too much stress and hassle for what it's worth.
