One step ahead of ya haha. Do you (or anyone else here) have any recs for songs to try to learn using lots of slide, in the rock or metal area? I already know plenty of blues songs with it.

What does the pineapple uke sound like? Does the body change the sound?

Compared to the Takamine, it's crap. The body changes the sound, but it's a really cheap Uke, so changing crap sound will only produce a changed crap sound. It was a gift from the ex. She knows nothing about guitars, so she went with the worst of both worlds. I hate the body style, and the sound is terrible. It's a friggin Luna. I took it to our singers house last night for a Uke jam, and left it with her for a while. She's just learning, but she's got skillz.

Uke Circles ftw!

Nice Mandolin, I'll probably slip into buying one of those eventually.

Muwahahaha.... I cannot believe how fucking loud this thing is. I can't have it above 9 o'clock otherwise it's too loud for my housemates. I got the 1x8 cabinet for the time being, but I can definitely see using this in conjunction with a 4x12 cab for gigging, even thought it would look absolutely ridiculous.

If you are interested in using an attenuator I've tried them all and the Dr. Z Brake Lite is the best.
