good plan. is a name change really necessary though? seems kind of wasteful especially if you had merch on the way. unless the drummer owned the old name i'd tell him to suck it up and keep using it rather than waste your prior investment.

Well, besides the fact that we were outgrowing the name, our name wasn't on the new shirts, so we just went ahead and went with a new name: Of The Sun. Not to mention, Dr. Dre owns the rights to anything performance or recording related with the name Aftermath: which was our name. So even when we do get to making a life out of it, we wouldn't be able to make a living out of it.

****in' A. Our friends have been mostly receptive. Most of them are still having a hard time calling us by our new name, though, since they've been telling people about Aftermath for the past 8 years.

I have a few guitars, only 2 good ones though.

Electric - Fender Highway One Stratocaster HSS

Acoustic - Maton EM225

Amp - Fender G-DEC Digital Effects Amp, has a lot of effects already programmed into it, doesn't sound as good as a tube amp but at the moment this is all I need.
