Im suprised at the lack of curiousity shown from the forum. Usually its swarmed with people inquiring as to why the ban took place.
|
Another requested ban.
Ah well, I'm glad it was requested then. Still think it's a bit strange. |
He's been posting on RYM more so lately anyway. We've been replaced :(
|
I requested my own ban to work on my thesis .. But I've no problem admitting that I have a problem with self-discipline. If the work I do on the computer is like a nightmare and musicbanter is just a page away in a browser, it's hard for me not to spend time here.
I got a lot of work done during my 3 months away :p: |
I have the same issue, I just instead make my work day 13 hours long to do both. Right now I'm designing a camp brochure. AND POSTING!!!!!!!!
|
Hey, is Annie banned or is it another forum flaw?
Her name has a line through it now... Edit: We have a Tumor and a TumorAttitude? I'm a bit confused. |

It's better to have name changes, but it does take a little time to wait for Yac to change it (a few days).
|
Also, a name change means you get to keep your post count. A new account means you start over.
Something to keep in mind if you care about post count. |
Yes, exactly!
Why would you want a new account? That would reset your post count. Altough I have to add that on my forum I (the mod) can set the post count :) |

Analogaudio.nl, but since you can't read the rules I'm already going to tell you: You can only join if you have a love for open reel tapedecks. Sounds a bit odd, but that forum is about as active as this one :D.

Google chrome translates it from Dutch to English for me, but waiting for that to load each time would drive me crazy lol.
|
Haha, believe me, it's a mess when it's translated.
Theres a dutch saying that says "Liever een kleine die steigert dan een grote die weigert". Meaning 'rather a small one that works than a big one that doesn't work'. Literally translated it says 'rather a small one that prances than a big one that refuses'. When translated into english it says: Rather a big one that puts up scaffolding than a small one that refuses' ;D That was babelfish back then. I just tried it with google translate Rather than one big one that rears small that refuses Ah... sure. |

^So that makes MB like the song of the Sirens...
|
^ Exactly. And MB's sirens are even more beautiful. :D

So I'm glad you mentioned this in answer to someone's question. I hope he hasn't defected to another site permanently. :( Traitor. ;) |
I doubt it.
He probably suffered from overexposure of his own banality, or that of others. Most likely a mixture of both. |
When someone is banned....
What happens to their internet soul? Does it go to god? Is god real? What's god like? How are babies made? |
Quote:
I *do* know, though, that at least one banned internet soul went to MuzicForums! Perhaps that's hell. ;) |

I imagine that being shunned from the Garden of MusicBanter would feel ****ty. That's why I care when people get banned. I don't want them to suffer the sadness of banishment, especially not banishment f.o.r.e.v.e.r. Forever is such a long time. Luckily for you, you got resurrected fast! :) |
