Or like successfully(ish) trying to keep a punctured beer can from spilling on the carpet before you get to a sink/outside so that you can let the pressure release. Then once it's not explosive you just drink the rest, pouring it in a cup if you're classy.

Only you would know the secret of gripping a water jug with your bum cheeks.

Chula Vista 06-19-2018 12:20 AM

Tried the veal at the place across the street. OMFG. Gonna eat it at least one a day for the next two weeks.

I stayed off veal for over 25 years. Consumption didn't go down. Demand didn't go down. I gave up the battle.

I'm sorry, but a tenderized veal cutlet, breaded, and then fried and baked with mozz, and served over pasta, is better than sex.

You trying to stir up a vegan lynch mob in the no personal attacks thread?

Good one.

That sounds more like Your Day thread kinda bants. You know the one you turned into the battle of The Battle of Cortex. I didn't get any of the middle part. And wasn't "Consumption" what they use to call dying of tuberculosis back in the old days? You either don't know where you're at or you are rambling or both. Anyways "Ramble On" my dear old Led Zeppelin fanatic.

MicShazam 06-19-2018 09:50 AM

It's not rocket science, Nea.
And "consumption" can be Googled if you find the word so difficult.
;)

It's a Nea joke. They sometimes fall flat. Other times he's hilarious.

He usually takes things so literally that I assume he's serious until the joke is bent in neon.

Frownland 06-19-2018 09:58 AM

Neap is our funniest member. Never sure if he's serious or not, but that just makes it more funny.

Mindfulness is steep competition.

It's considered anti humor. It's not usually funny. But when it is...it's hilarous.

Mindfulness surpasses humourous and leaps for legend.

Was just listening to this song and it made me think of this thread.

Key 06-20-2018 10:56 AM

Don't know if it's just me, but I'm seeing everybody starting to be cool with each other again. I don't know if this thread is to credit that, but it's nice to see that we're acting like a community again, and not a bunch of 10 year olds.

Gotta give Frown some credit too. He's definitely become a more helpful mod and member.

I just think it's cool that we don't have to come to the forum to a ****fest every day again. Genuinely some good discussion going on lately.

OccultHawk 06-20-2018 11:02 AM

Exo put this forum on lockdown

I ain’t never seen nothing like it

I be thinking before I make a move

Honestly. I feel it with the last line in your post. I'm definitely thinking whether it's worth posting or not. I've stopped myself from being an ass on multiple occasions.

Chula Vista 06-20-2018 11:14 AM

Seriously, it was Exo's kick in the teeth. A broad brush forum wide warning was much needed and long overdue.

DwnWthVwls 06-21-2018 03:39 AM

There just havent been any topics that create heated discussions. Dont fool yourself, the drama is always in spurts.

Trollheart 06-21-2018 05:18 AM

Disagree. The drama, so far as I can see, tends to express itself mostly in the political sub-forum, where people get heated up about political or social views and attitudes. Mind you, other than the English Football and World Cup threads, I don't go into the Sports ones, so you could be right. There's definitely plenty of drama to be had in the Current Events/Political threads though.

DwnWthVwls 06-21-2018 05:27 AM

I mean i can go stir the pot if youd like. All you have to do is take a position OH or Chula dont agree with and be willing to debate about it. This place goes in cycles: drama, mods let it build until it gets out of hand before finally making a big deal about it, cooldown period, more drama.

Only way i see that changing is thr mods being quicker to pull the trigger. And im not blaming them, its a tough act to balance.

Psy-Fi 06-21-2018 05:57 AM

^ Yeah... it's only a matter of time until the next insult-fest flares up among the usual suspects.

Long overdue ... like a Led Zeppelin reunion tour?

Things are boring as **** lately and everything being about video games and football sure doesn't help.

Cracking down on personal insults will have that effect.

Yes I realize the irony here. Few years isn't exact.

I miss the flat earth guy, and the guy who thought that Paul McCartney was a zombie. :(
