Rachel Maddow can be really, really good. She can also be annoying. Same goes for most of the talking heads on MSNBC.

Her smugness is her Achilles heal. Wish she'd learn to tone it down.

Yes, Rachel Maddow has some annoying characteristics but I like the way she digs back into the past to show the precedents, parallels and background to today's political stories. If there's an alternative cable news prog with the same approach, I'll happily change allegiance from RM. I promise that she means nothing to me, rubber soul; you know it's only you I care about

The Democrats have to keep this pick from going through until after the midterms. Start tying up all the time with new proposals and unrelated filibusters. Create new security measures that have to be learned. Do fire drills. Fake seizures. Start fights. Bomb threats. Sabotage the AC. Start rumours and absurd investigations. Use actual violence. They should actually do that until Obama’s rightful pick is in there.

Trump has a list of 25 potential justices. Extort them. Threaten their families unless they drop out. Use violence. Start a civil war.

I can easily imagine cultural divisions, class divisions, racial divisions-

Yeah it’s a Cold War already to a degree but could the police, national guard, and military fragment? It’s not unthinkable- a real hot civil war with battles and casualties and missile strikes and all of it. I know it would be a disaster but imagining it makes me just feel like **** yes!!!
