Interracial marriage was once taboo and still is for many old people, but genetic disparity between races is basically zero.

Also I think that that taboo is related to a trend of immigrants remaining Catholic while American Christians are largely protestant.

I brought up orthodoxy for a reason mate. It's basically offbrand catholocism without (widespread) rape.

But yes, I'd like to see a move away from having faith at all.

The taboo came from the fact that they thought their allegiance was towards the church rather than the country. It's the reason why Irish people faced discrimination early on. Their propaganda isn't much different from yours.

Somebody that isn't well versed in metal would say that black metal is an offbrand death metal but to somebody in to metal might consider that to be completely ignorant.
