Some women are forced to wear it, I know one who was forced to wear the hijab from a child and could only remove it when she moved away to university, it's quite sad, to say if they didn't want to they'd just take it off is just unbelievable tbh

Like every other thing in the world, this is clearly a black and white situation with no exceptions and only one of you two can be right. There is zero diversity within Islam so this just makes sense.

You bring up an example of someone that you personally knew that was forced to wear a hijab. An anecdote while we were talking about burqas.
