foul mouth youths deserve to have rocks thrown at them. Its the word of god and I will be the hand of god. Have you ever seen the look on someone's face who just had a rock hit them in the face at 70 mph. They're never going to have a ****-eating grin on their face after they make a lude and lascivious comment about your homosexuality again.

I don't really hear of many cases where an athiest flips out because someone believes in God. It's usually the ones who do believe in him that get their panties in a twist when someone doesn't believe in him. I don't care who believe what because I respect that. I love my dad but he's one of the reasons why I can't stand religion. He thinks if something is in the bible, it's right. If it's not in the bible, it's wrong. My older brother and I were at my dad's house a few weeks ago and we got into a religious discussion (my brother is also athiest) and it was nearly impossible to explain anything to our dad because he is so hung up on the bible that he doesn't give anything else a thought.

I've witnessed many more rude reactions from Atheists than from any believers, but that could be because of who I find myself surrounded by. Am I wrong? ...At least on the Atheist part. I didn't have a solid example for the believer.

It probably does have more to do with who you surround yourself with. I'm probably the opposite in which most people I hang around believe in God so I get more of that reaction but it does go both ways. I guess the news is also partially to blame for my perception because there are far more stories about christians making a fuss over things than athiests.
It's not to say that everyone who believes in God are the same way. My mom believes in God and doesn't get upset that I don't but then you get my dad, like I mentioned above. The worst kind are the people who are so hung up on believing/not believing that they talk down to people who believe the opposite. It's sad that people just can't accept that everyone has their own views. One guy at my work asked me if I believed in God and I got a lecture from him and he just went on and on and on telling me that God judges me, etc. If people want to discuss religion, I love that because I like to hear their side and I like to share my side, but trying to shove things down a person's throat, no thanks.

I've met so many types of believers, though.
I've met those who just need something to believe in, those who strongly believe in God, those who were brought up to believe in God, those who believe in him for the fear OF him... etc. Each of them reacts a different way. As for Athiests, there are those who don't believe in God so that they can fit in, those who don't believe in God because they were brought up not to believe in God, those who don't believe in God because of some sort of experience... etc. Each of them reacts differentl as well. Almost contradicting my previous post, I've met a lot more Atheists who are willing to hold back their beliefs than believers.
