Default Ayn Rand objectivist cult following "libertarians" are pro-murder.

Ayn Rand didn't like the libertarian party at all. You're all wash ups and throw aways in her would be mind.

That is worse than anything the New Left has proposed. It’s a mockery of philosophy and ideology. They sling slogans and try to ride on two bandwagons. They want to be hippies, but don’t want to preach collectivism, because those jobs are already taken. But anarchism is a logical outgrowth of the anti-intellectual side of collectivism. I could deal with a Marxist with a greater chance of reaching some kind of understanding, and with much greater respect. The anarchist is the scum of the intellectual world of the left, which has given them up. So the right picks up another leftist discard. That’s the Libertarian movement.
And now on to the pro-murder bit. Has anyone read the book Atlus Shrugged? I did. I Just finished it about 10 minutes ago. Here is a summary of the story. Morality leads to wealth, therefor the richest people in society are also the most moral. These moral heroes which are also the rich fatcat republican types decide that the world didn't love them enough and decided they were butthurt enough to have a bitchfit and throw around some QQ lasers (not to be confused with pew pew lasers) and destroy society as they know it. Thats right, morality leads to the destruction of poor people according to her literature which was heavily based on her world view. Ayn Rand's philosophy makes the likes of Stalin and Hitler seem innocent.

Ayn Rand didn't think homosexuality could be natural either. She also believes in a militaristic foreign policy that is not rational. Ayn Rand is not a god. I like her because she is the best we have/had. Also, I don't like the libertarian party. I don't like the Objectivist party either because it is a libertarian scam. Right now, desperate times call for desperate measures. While all America wants to ruin the economy, someone has to do something about it, even if it means supporting the libertarians.

Also the second half of that message is an obvious troll. I lol'd.

I have yet to run into a single sane libertarian.

She is probably the worst philosopher I can think of.

So we're going to fix up the economy by getting rid of the establishments that exist for the purpose of making sure the economy works? Makes perfect sense. Fight for peace rah rah rah.

As tongue in cheek as it was I meant it far more sincerely than the first half. Her anti-poor people writing is rather insulting to any decent human.

You already view her higher than 99.9% of academia does.

Those establishments are not what makes the economy work. I love how you just assume I agree that we need government intervention to keep the economy going. Of course, this is the exact opposite of what Ayn Rand proposed.

Yes, because believing that some people should be slaves because of their financial status is totally pro-human and pro-life. /sarcasm

I just read about her on Wikipedia, and I have to agree, alot her ideas and philosophy make no sense. What annoys me even more is how her books are selling so well when most of her ideas are just crap.

Lol, I would not want to live in a country that tried this extremist economic view and I don't know any sane person who would. People who place faith in the "morality" or "rationality" of corporate whores and business men need to maybe look at how businesses operate with no regulation (e.g. unsanitary working conditions, inhumane pay, sweat shops, etc.) If you think Wall Street was full of greed and crooks when Washington turned the blind eye just imagine how bad it would be when they don't even have rules to pretend to answer to. The answer to fixing the economic crisis is not in the libertarian party unless you think living in a country where all economic activity comes to an absolute halt is your idea of a solution.
