Yes a woman who sleeps around is a slut, but the same goes for a guy who does the same thing. But the difference is most guys do it to add names to their roster while most girls do it because of some weird daddy issue or a desperate need to be loved.

Unfortunately the term "male slut" will never be demeaning or for that matter even catch on, however I appreciate sluts as they do serve a meaningful purpose in life.

Well in my neck of the woods they aint called "male sluts" they be called "cooter hounds" and it is pretty devastating to one's character to be called one at that tbh.

I can see why the stigma is there. men have to work for sex, so it's sort of an achievement when they get it. women have to walk into a bar/party with revealing clothing to send the message

depends on the guy but yes for a large majority of guys they have to "work" for sex.

It's only devastating to one's character to be called "thirsty" basically when a guy is trying too hard to chase pussy. He shouldn't be working so hard to chase pussy in the first place but that's neither here or there some guys need all the help they can get.
