I tried Marijane but only a few puffs. I felt nothing (except being parched with thirst the next morning).
Would I try hevier stuff? No way. Much to risky.

If drugs were legalized I would be tripping balls 24/7. I don't have any friends who deal or know someone that deals anymore.

I have used substances recreationally in the past.

I see no need to further impair myself now so no, if they were all legalized I would not be tempted.

I had a bellyfull by the time I was in my late 20's (through the 1970's).

The brain is a biological computor with a host of chemical balances I don't seem to need to skew anymore. It would inhibit my ability to meditate, which I find much more enlightening and serene.

To each their own.

Like I said: had my share.

I'm involved in a debating society and one of the questions we were asked is this, in regard to drugs legalization: would you, assuming you've never taken drugs before, be tempted to use drugs should they be all legalized?

The argument from many people in my group was that legalization would lead to little or no increase in drugs users, arguing that those who really do wish to use whatever substance are not deterred by legality.

Any opinions appreciated!
Knowing now that I was 'tempted' to take about every illegal drug ever produced, that's tough.

It would be cheating, I know the good ones from the bad ones. And, I know me, so, I know I would be not just tempted, I would succumb to my own desires.

But, also knowing what I know now, I wouldn't breath air, or drink water.

I would morph into some salt-sucking phylum and feast on the man who created this body That's a good buzz.

I think most people who get busted for drugs (personal use type situations) end up in that position secondarily, after stupidly getting caught breaking some other law while in possession of drugs.
Unless you're a high level dealer who's being watched, I don't think a person should have any concern about whether they'll get busted for smoking a joint or something in their basement.

Personally, I think people that use legality as their sole excuse for not doing drugs are actually more afraid/unsure of the drug itself than they are of possible legal consequences. I don't think most functional, intelligent people really think their chances of getting busted are anywhere near as high as let on.
Which drug caused to join the KKK?

Yea. You must have em like a dog! I don't the brain is the brain of the computer. I think it is the heaven we're supposed to live in, the dry land that resulted from the separation of the waters.......that's what the book says, so it has to be True.

A freebie from the monkey man....and, this another example of how we see things unless we're on some good hallucinogens.

Here's a little challenge for the computer in your brain.

Riddle. There's a message in every song. Who is tweeter? Jane? The Monkey Man? It's in there, the symbolism comes out in different stories. This is not about a running with drugs from a cop....there's a clue......

Since, you have sonar, it should be a cake walk)

myself

Hope you enjoy the song anyway... Music is a gift from the Monkey man...

We had a lot of luck on Venus
We always had a ball on Mars
Meeting all the groovey people
We've rocked the Milky Way so far
We danced around with Borealice
We're space truckin' round the the stars
Come on let's go Space Truckin'

Remember when we did the moonshot
And Pony Trekker led the way
We'd move to the Canaveral moonstop
And every naut would dance and sway
We got music in our solar system
We're space truckin' round the stars
Come on let's go Space Truckin'

The fireball that we rode was moving
But now we've got a new machine
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah the freaks said
Man those cats can really swing
They got music in their solar system
They've rocked around the Milky Way
They dance around the Borealice
They're Space Truckin' everyday
Come on

There's a drug for you.... clean drugs
