Close minded, I don't think so we have all seen this information, I can go grab a skull from a bunch is different species of monkeys and it doesn't prove anything. Maybe u mis understood me, I thought we were talking about hunan leavin, who gives a **** about anything else, u say we started out as animals and slowly thru time have the ability to fly in space, if that makes sense to you than so be it, we have all seen this evolution theory, however u said with your own mouth that u won't check out with your own eyes the evidence that I have seen cause it will take too long, so I guess u can stay uninformed, and make decisions without seeing all if the evidence. I don't really care. Like I said before, comedy. I think u r the close minded one, u r the one who refuses to look at any other evidence, and, believe me there is more than can even posted on this forum that's why u have to investigate for yourself, I told u where to start looking, its your choice, I won't post it cause u children need to learn to see ALL sides for yourself before making a decision, however u already have your mind made up so really, don't bother, if u don't have an open mind and are full of pride u will never learn anything new.

I've already stated that I will treat your arguments seriously if you can make them.

I'm not being simply dismissive of your ideas. I am asking you to formulate them to me. Instead of contributing with proper arguments to the discussion - like I just did in my previous post - you tell me to go watch documentaries and spend hours researching your claims. That's what I don't agree with. I suggest you present your arguments here on the forum like a normal forum-goer. If you won't do that, then why are you even here?

If you make your arguments here, I will be happy to read them and comment.

Clearly you also misunderstand the meaning and significance of the word theory in scientific terminology. In the scientific community, evolution is an established fact beyond any reasonable doubt. Sure, you can't prove it just like you can't disprove the world was created by an alien from another dimension some 10 minutes ago and all our memories are implanted. But, for all practical purposes - as the world seems to work - evolution is as close to fact as we generally get and attempts at disproving it has failed and will fail in the future. Evolution has withstood testing since the idea was first formulated and today, it has proven to be robust time and time again, it helps us rationally explain just about everything we see in nature that we previously did not understand and we can observe the process in detail as it takes place.

Read my previous post if you want to know more such as the working definition of scientific theory.

I never said it disproved evolution, Just that it raised some questions about certain aspects of evolution.

The last few posts in this thread are a good example. Look at tore's fact based arguments, utilizing solid evidence and presenting and adressing key points and issues you've raised.

Now look at the arguments of creationists. They consist of telling people how ignorant they are, making broad assumptions and illogical leaps to conclusions, using quotes out of context, talking about moral implications, assaulting character, and insisting upon the same points of evidence to support their case, almost as if by rote, over and over again in a cycle.

If evolution is such a ridiculous notion, it should be easy to challenge scientifically. Not socially, not morally, not historically.

I forgot to address this comment.

These bones themselves can be dated so the age of them is known. I addition to the aging of the bones themselves, when people are digging up fossils, they generally have an idea of the age of the strata they're working in.

You're not going to find two million year old bones of modern Homo sapiens. Observational evidence confirms that; we just don't. Our species as it is today had not evolved back then. What you do find are ancestral forms, the transitional forms that you in fact asked for. Looking at them, you can track gradual changes such as an increase in brain volume and a change to upright walking. If you knew zoology and taxonomy, you would see that these skulls are not monkey skulls.

If humans never evolved, then it should be possible to find H. sapiens fossils going back millions of years, yet we don't. The evolution explanation is the only one that fits all the findings and observations and explain them in a rationally acceptable way.
