How sad. May he rest in peace.

It's so sad that someone is now a widow and someone has to grow up without a father just because of some psycho.

He was married with a two-year old child.

Do they know the reason for this attack yet or what?

Yeah mate he pretty much said why in the little speech he did.

The family of the deceased's press conference:

Woolwich attack: Lee Rigby's family tell of grief over death of 'our hero' | UK news | guardian.co.uk

Not sure if posters based outside of the UK can view it but should be easy enough to find.

It's difficult to watch.

Just been reading this:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...an-reveal.html

Make of it what you will.

Okay, I did not watch the video in the first post because I thought it showed the actual attack.

Just watched the interview with the family on the news and it's heartbreaking. What comes through strongly is that the family obviously feared for him while he was in action. Then he comes home, everything seems ok, and he gets killed on the streets of his own country. Awful outcome, horribly tragic and almost like some dark cosmic joke, that isn't in the least funny.

Watch for new emergency laws being passed/powers being taken by the govt in the UK soon I would think.

At least the main muslim groups and leaders have come out strongly against this, and oddly enough, I haven't heard (though I admit I haven't been following the story deeply) any comments/support from the likes of Al Qaeda...?

Umm, what's odd about Al Qaeda not speaking on this? Since when does Al Qaeda represent all muslims? Do you even know how many Muslims there are in the entire world? Good lord.
