everyone seems to be saying the same thing. that it's basically a forgone conclusion that hillary will be the next prez.

except these people:

Democrats, Hillary Clinton Could Lose 2016 Presidential Election | The New Republic

who say that the democrats are at an inherent disadvantage, historically speaking.

but if it came down to just a personality contest i'd pick rubio over clinton anyday. that woman is just what i would term "unlovable."

either way i don't really care who takes the job. whoever it is, they're going to become the new host of "2 minutes of hate" for the next 4-8 years.

Not at all. We see presidents on television live or on the evening news all the time once the election is over. I want to get as much of a look at them as possible prior to the election to help partially inform my vote.
Why?

Like I said, the can do press releases or something. Have a press secretary get on camera, with the candidate nowhere to be seen. It's not like most people even watch the debates anyway.

if your aim is to drive people away from paying attention to politics then that sounds like a great idea. otherwise not really.

It's must see TV for me. But I lead a pretty boring life these days.

They already don't care, and when they do their enthusiasm and opinions are mostly harmful and ignorant rather than helpful. **** if I care if even more mouth breathers become disengaged.

Not every single one but definitely the final one. But it depends on who's debating.

I care a lot. I'm inching up on retirement and SS. Gotta make sure no Teabagger gets anywhere near my hard earned money.
