When they have the potential to hold the most powerful position in the world, yeah you end up taking them seriously. It's hard to get a reality check behind a griller at Burger King.

FYI this is a huge part of the problem.

Would you rather us start supporting Trump in his actions? I don't necessarily agree with Hillary on what she says, and she told lies during the debate as well. But what it boils down to is who you feel you can believe more.

Well obviously. But who would you trust more with that power?

I don't let Trump's ugliness make Hillary shine. Hillary can be criticized alongside Trump.

I don't believe either of them and it boils down to me drinking a lot to curb the depression.

I genuinely think that both of them would have similarly good/bad one term presidencies.

^Believe it or not, we actually agree completely based on your response. I'm only trying to see some sort of light in the dark pit we're being handed. Similarly, I don't think the POTUS should have the amount of power that they have, but that's a different argument in a different ball park.

POTUS has a very inflated image of power, but their actual abilities are much smaller than what people assume them to be.

True. Congress holds most of it, evident throughout the Obama administration.

Perception counts for a lot with our allies though. If HRC wins and the Dems take control of either the house or Senate (or both), **** will get done.

I think taking clowns seriously is gonna lose your grip on reality a lot sooner, oh master click baiter.
