I wish Trump would build a wall around you.

I can't make it through more than 5-10 minutes of these debates.

I think the debates are hilarious, then deep down I slowly die inside.

Edit: Can anybody give me a reason not to support Even McMullen over these two? He seems to be a competent Republican that isn't completely corrupt. Don't agree with all of his policies but with a well balanced congress we can make everybody happy.

I stopped watching last night before it ended, but I heard about the "nice comment about each other" comment.

That was at first awkward but turned out well for both of them. She complimented his kids highly which seemed to genuinely touch him. First words out of his mouth were: I don't know if you meant that as a compliment but I'm going to take it as one. He in turn praised her for being very strong and never giving up on what she believes in. Completely broke the tension between them.

After the debate was over the candidates and their families mingled with the people on stage - who must have all been given disposable cameras for taking pictures.

Bill Clinton was clearly the star of all of it. It seemed like he always had a crowd around him intently listening to what he was saying. By contrast both Trump and Hillary found themselves with no-one a number of times. Trump and his posse left first and Hillary bailed about 5 minutes later. Bill stayed on stage for at least another 5-10 minutes listening and talking. As he was leaving he searched out the guy in the red shirt who asked about energy policies and based on my lip reading skills seemed to tell him "that was a great question". He spent some time with the guy and then left.

People love the dude in hindsight. Happens with all presidents. Obama's numbers are higher than they've been his entire second term because people are starting to really reflect on his legacy.

I highly doubt Trump's strategy of deflecting blame away from himself by making it all about Bill and Hillary and his sex scandals failed miserably.

That's where I sort of zoned out since I wasn't entirely sure what the motive was behind bringing Bill Clinton into his argument where it had no place to do so. He brought up points about Hillary that made some sense, but instead of continuing on his strong points, he babbled on and never got anything across.

Trump/rep supporters and Hillary/dem supporters obvs didn't get their minds changed. Swing voters likely saw Trump for the greater, but less competent, evil.

You already answered this.

The data says otherwise. This was posted a few hours ago:

Ohio Flips as Clinton

What sucks is that they so transparently come across like salespersons. They clearly have their memorized talking points that they keep going back to, regardless of what the topic was, and it also sucks that the talking points seem to be evenly divided between selling themselves with some shallow, usually vague marketing talk and attacking their opponent. How any of that is supposed to help anyone intelligently decide who to vote for is a mystery. As always it ends up being about personality, charisma, etc.

I actually agree with this completely. Both sides seemed to stick to what they know instead of answering specific questions. To me, the debate was simply a "i'm going to one up your insult" debate and not about the actual issues themselves. It's rather sad. I feel bad for the people that haven't made up their mind, because honestly if I were in their shoes, I wouldn't know who to choose either. Hell, I don't think I know even now.

Just saw your edit, and the only reason I can give is that he's not John Kasich.
