Yes, he recused himself from the Trump/Russian collusion investigation. But he's the goddamn Attorney General of the United States. He should have stayed involved with the basic election issue in regards to Russia. He shrugged it off like it was a bothersome mosquito today. That, along with his memory "issues" makes him unfit for the job. Can we at least agree on that?

Based on what I've seen go on between you and Frown, I think you are way more compromised than I am. As in, having a balanced healthy mental state, clarity, etc.

As far as what I said before goes, you might want to go read up on what constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley said in regards to my previous statement about Comey's memos. I'm sure you'd find it rather enlightening.

Nice try bucky. Me and Frown have a dynamic that's long standing and similar to a brother love/hate feud thing. You don't deserve to evoke it in any way, shape, or form.

Makes me wonder if the government has been downplaying Russia's attempts, if they've been ignorant of it, or if it's something new that the Russians are trying out since they decided they'd take a break in 91 because they thought Loveless was so amazing. Or if its another option.

And we all laughed when Mitt Romney said Russia was our biggest threat. If they brush it off as no big thing, does that mean that they've reached a point that made it no big thing?

Anteater 06-13-2017 11:34 PM

Think of it this way: if we had all voted Romney back in 2012, we wouldn't have had Trump today.

He isn't unfit for the job because of memory "issues". He ends up saying "I don't recall" in place of pleading the fifth because he can't plead the fifth in that setting. Didn't you notice whenever there was something he agreed with he remembered all the details and was giddy about it but if it was a tricky question he would say he doesn't recall. I loved when Senator Harris was grilling him. He was getting so flustered. He was also using a tactic of over explaining answers so the time can run out for asking questions. Every time he lied about something he would purse his lips into a downward frown. Re watch it and you will what I am talking about. Also all of those nervous cocky smiles weren't doing him any favors. Oh god and the communication between McCain and Sessions was hilarious. Both didn't seem like they knew what was going on.

Also hahaha Beauregard is his middle name. Why do I not find that surprising?

Trump officially under FBI investigation for obstruction of justice. **** just got real. At this point all of those around Trump are going to stop listening to White House council and get their own personal lawyers.

Trump fires Mueller next and the GOP members of the Senate and House have to really start distancing themselves from him.

Drip, drip, drip.....

A president is never going to end up in jail. They just end up having to resign at which point they are free and clear.

I meant it more like riding through the whole impeachment to prison process without having the humility to resign.

Trollheart 06-15-2017 01:01 PM

Hypothetical (or maybe not: we can hope) - if Trump went to jail do you think he'd prefer for conjugals Melania or Ivanka? ;)

djchameleon 06-15-2017 01:21 PM

Neither would show up at all.

Also if he goes and I'm sure they will get Pence as well. We will be stuck with Paul Ryan as president.

^Oh I meant to ask you. Why do you belittle Trump's tweets and not take them seriously? All of his tweets are being archived, even the ones that he deletes. Yes, I know he uses it to spread lies and misinformation but there are also important things that he lets slip every now and then.

How many folks here remember that before the internet, all we really had to research history was the Encyclopædia Britannica.

It was a series of books separated usually by letter. It's what you would use to study for tests in High School.

In 2020 the "T" volume is going to be a blast to read.
