I disagree with him vehemently on a lot of what he said (like the stuff about unity, sounds like a bunch of globalist nonsense to me), but I commend him for acting the most adult-y I've ever seen him.

The part with the military widow made my eyes roll out of my head and down the hallway though. Also gotta love how he wants to replace Obamacare with...Obamacare.

He also needs to hire a speech coach who can help him learn how to talk without his mouth always forming an O. It just makes him look douchey IMO.

That's why I like to read the transcripts of these things: so I don't have to hear his stupid voice or see his doucheface (and that's not just Trump hate, he genuinely has that "I'm a rich twat" look).

First Michael Flynn resigns over lying about Russian ties, and now Jeff Sessions gets caught in a lie (under oath) about meeting with a Russian Ambassador, twice, while a senator and Trump campaign advisor.

The Dems are saying that there's no way now that he can preside over the investigations of Trump's campaign being in almost constant contact with the Russians during the campaign. And a number of top Dems are asking for him to step down.

So much for the positive momentum from last night's speech. This just broke and by tomorrow morning will have exploded.

I hope that is enough to get Sessions out. Hate that guy so much.

Trump must be going ape**** right now. He was getting his first overall semi-positive mainstream press and then less than 24 hours later you had the Lindsey Graham/John McCain town hall, that you knew he was watching, where both senators lectured him over and over again about how he should be doing his job.

And then before he could cool off, the Sessions story breaks.
