^Yeah, I get how it can be seen as a slap in the face, but the silver lining (as Frown pointed out) is he's doing something he said he would do and $77k isn't much but it's SOMETHING (and it's environmental of all places).

Bannon ousted from National Security Council

I don't know much about Tom Bossert but I'm pretty ****in sure that he's a much better choice than Bannon. Celebrate (cautiously).

Yeah, like when a waitress is given a penny tip.

Nah it's basically nothing and just shows a general contempt for the environment. He should get no credit.

Bannon was easy to vilify.

Let the in-fighting begin in earnest.

They voted on Gorsuch. Couldn't get it passed so they decided to change the rules to push him through anyways.

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/04/0...rt-senate.html

It's kind of funny how during Trump's campaign trail he was bitching and moaning that Hillary would elect someone to Supreme Court that would take away people's guns. This is the person that he ends up putting into the Supreme Court that doesn't give two ****s about the every day person and has consistently sided with big corporations over the worker.

Frownland 04-06-2017 02:01 PM

Gorsuch is a great judge though because he is more concerned with legal aspects of things than his moral siding. "A judge that likes the outcomes of all of his verdicts is likely not a good judge." That's a step up from Scalia for sure, who thought that sometimes it's okay to be inconsistent.

I get the bitterness revolving SC judges because of Merrick Garland, but the Dems need to grow the **** up and not pretend that two wrongs make a right.
