Did you ever consider how he would actually govern? How he considered himself above the law, how he would say anything for profit, how he was a complete dumbass beneath it all?

I was hoping he would become dictator and that he was pandering to the crowd with his rhetoric. I was usually drugged out and not taking the situation very seriously in general. I didn't even vote... Was just something I argued about online.

That's the thing. They really haven't been like that in the past. We are headed for uncharted territory, but people have already become numb to the amount of offenses he's accrued.

The moderate Democrats really need to nut up and support impeachment. Fuck Pelosi.

He really isn't that special, american politics have always been deeply ****ed. They're just used to be ****ed in a way that liberals were complicit in rather than opposed to.

I wouldn't call it an attempt to disrupt democracy. It's more that he's trying to preserve his power by destabilizing threats from within. And it goes way further back than Putin.

The executive branch has been expanding to a terrifying degree under every president from Reagan on, with Bush Jr and Obama being the worst contenders. Trump is just reaping the benefits of that as he drives us further down that road.
