Plus he's from Louisiana so you gotta kind of feel bad for him...the only team he has to root for home wise in the NFL is the Saints...lol..All jokes aside..I like his posts.

While I dont always agree with his views on things. He seems like a pretty intelligent guy. Borderline on being an @hole but thats cool. I can respect that cause it shows you could care less what people think. Different kind of humor but hey..to each their own.

The only female gender who's posts I catch a glimpse of from time to time. Im a bit of a sexist so I dont usually read to deep into the opposite sex posts. But the ones I have read are most the time funny and in this world a sense of humor is all that matters.

Always very detailed and intelligable in his posts. Seems very reserved and cool under pressure. Yet not someone you want to piss off cause ive seen him ban a guy who challenged his manhood. I like reading his posts whenever I want to learn something.

• Conan

Fan of his posts and opinions on things. Has the ability to make me laugh and keeps a calm about things. Look forward to seeing his thoughts on matters and discussions. I did see a post in which he was worried about his fighting ability...I wouldnt worry to much cause he doesnt seem the type to ever spark that kind of dillema.

• Dirty

Always finding a way to make me laugh in his posts. Never a dull moment with him and could care less of approval. Good qualities to have in life. Knows his stuff when it comes to sports and seems to be a good guy. I can relate to a lot of his tastes in things and like to hear his thoughts.

• Djchameleon

Makes me chuckle now and again..Appears to have a good head on his shoulders in general. Seems to be one of those go with the flow types that stays at the same even pace. Never to happy and never to down. Other than being a 49'ers fan pretty cool guy.

Man....good guy..woman issues maybe? A distinct longing for approval from women it seems. All around nice guy and interesting tastes in music. Other than his overabundance of smiley face use...jk...Good contributer to the site.

There are a few bad things about S_k, I think. He's definetly a bit of a brag, he's sometimes rude in that kind of innocent way with a little wink-smiley at the end which means he'll get away with it and he often treat the threads as if they were chat rooms.

However, the good easily outweighs the bad, I think. He's honest, friendly and also very knowledgeable (an asset on the broad subject of gear and equipment for sure) and, if the topic moves onto something he doesn't know much about, he acknowledges that and treats such subjects with a kind of humility (I mean that in a positive way!). So much of the internet is people talking or writing about stuff they don't know much about, so his honesty is refreshing. Also, he has very good/trained ears.

I think I know what you mean with the rudeness, Tore. But I don't think I mean those things as rude as they are picked up by some readers. I honestly never felt like seriously insulting someone. There's no one (except for some banned members that never got to 20 postings or so) that I dislike.
I do get carried away often and I do respond to postings without looking at which topic I'm in. I have that problem on every forum by the way. I'm a bit too impulsive when it comes to replying now and then. Working on that.

It is true that I may come over like a know-all now and then, but it's like Tore says: Only when I know what I'm on about. And in those cases I indeed do have a tendency to be very targeted. But then I am sure I'm right obviously :).

I think s_k is a nice guy. I really don't think any of his rudeness is intended at all, when it's interpreted as such. In many sections of the site, particular in those dealing with audio, he's a very valuable contributor.

Hm. You know I haven't even noticed any of the "bad points" about him. He's never once seemed out of line in my book. Go figure.

S_k is a great member. He has positive and negative things to say about different things just like everyone else.

I tend not to make a secret out of this so people can (if they want) think about that when they read my postings and perhaps sigh for a bit and carry on. It's exactly like you put it: I am unaware or have a different (abnormal) view on the way things I do and say appear to others.
It's the other way around too, I sometimes interpret things in a way that's far from 'average'. Sometimes that's a choice I make, but often it's just aspergers getting in the way.

Just once more: I have been diagnosed with aspergers (which is a form of autism) and I do live from disability benefits. You don't get these easily here, so there's probably a lot more wrong with me than you might think. Altough I know it doesn't really show, not even when you meet me, when you get to know me you will notice some abnormalities. It's hard to say how 'severe' I have aspergers. It's hard to say. I can do a lot, but there's some very normal things (like making phone calls for instance) I'm terrified of. Socially I'm better than I am supposed to be, considering the severity of my autism. I never really gave up communicating and trained myself. It really works, but it still shows sometimes.
I am sorry for that. Altough some of you guys may think I'm some arrogant prick, I do care a lot of what other people way. I don't even play music people don't like when they're at my place. I make compilation tapes and I leave tracks out because I know they will bother some people. So I'm in no way feeling better or more important than others. It's probably just the way I put things that makes people think I do, but I really really don't.

I don't think I've ever seen your opinion align with what's the popular opinion regarding an artist/album. I want to feel welcome and wanted. So I do care if I offend someone, yeah. Only problem is that I do sometimes indeed offend people without knowing it myself. And as dumb as it may sound: I can't change it, so they'll have to live with it. I do change, bit by bit, but in the meantime people will have to be patient with me. Except for the people who have no problem at all.
Luckily most people are fine with me :)

It's not easy for me to read between the lines. If you read into autism and aspergers in particular, you will find that that's often a problem.
I also have a problem with the language. Altough my English may be quite allright, it's really tough to find the right tone and put the right feeling into postings. I will need ten times the amount of postings I have now to achieve that.

Nothing too do with thinking I'm better. I am just more forthright with my opinions. A few members on MB are far more harsher in their critique ( sorry for using a pretentious word) than myself but can get away with it because they can argue their corner better than me.

I am probably the least pretentious person you could come across and anyone who can admit to listening to hair metal and an obscure Funk band that no one has heard of and enjoy both is someone that may be worth listening to once in a while even if you don't agree with them.

Very very disappointed with a (in my eyes) respected member agreeing with the notion that I am pretentious (not yourself in this instance).

Holdyoualways - Our friendship lasted long after she stopped posting and she helped through some rough patches so I will always be thankful for that and we bonded over our mutal love for Rise against/AFI.

wolves - we talked from time to time but I would have liked to talk to you more too bad I disappeared and that didn't happen.

CitylightsRain - Our mutual love for symphonic metal brought us together and if I remember correctly you were even my noob mentor and helped me out a bit.

MurderJunkie - I always admired your charisma around the forums and how you got along with pretty much everyone. I loved your avatars and I pretty much looked up to you forum wise as how I wanted to be.

silly arguments with you but I have come to realize how you are as a person so instead of going back and forth forever. I just take the high road and let you think that you have
"won" the argument so that it can help your ego or w/e and you can chit chat about your "victories" with Sugar on AIM. I feel that your beef with Tumor is just straight up stupid.
You know you are a strong person that claims you don't care what anyone thinks yet0 you are going around kicking a puppy just for the smallest reasons. Your ego has lead you to believe
that she is stalking you and admires you in some weird way but that can't be further from the truth. On the positive sides, I like some of your recommendations as far as books go and I always
like to see when you cook something new so keep that up.

Big3 - We have had some interesting conversations over Tom Waits. Over the years it has been fun to see you tear through people so easily and make them look foolish.

JackHammer - You are just awesome all around like everyone gives you praise for. From your in depth knowledge of music to movies and I respect you for that. With that knowledge
does come an air of elitism. At times , I feel like you think you are better than others for it.

Vanilla - I love your personality and how upfront you are about sex and all topics pretty much. Nothing is off limits when it comes out of your mouth. This is a similar quality that I enjoy in 333 as well.
This same quality I believe is why other people hate you/dislike you. They feel you are an attention whore for it but don't worry about them. Haters are gonna hate, its their occupation.

81+ - We don't get to talk much but from the few times that we have spoken with each other. I get the feeling that you are a very intellectual indivdual.

The Cunning Stunt - you have the potential to be funny at times but I just don't get the other times when you are just straight up mean to people for the silliest reasons. Oh yeah I like hating people just because.
Ummm okay that's like picking on weaker individuals just because you can. It's a stupid bully attitude you have and I don't like it but that's just who you are.

Boozinbloozin - pretty cool down to earth guy. Too bad he's a cowboys fan they'll never have a chance again. He's had a rough life so far with his relationships but I think he might be slowly getting over it and coming out better for it.

James - has some self esteem issues but I'm pretty he will get over them as he grows older. He just needs a change of pace and some new damn friends.

Skaligojurah - can be weird at times but one man's weirdness is another man's normality. He's pretty cool guy overall though and his knowledge of jazz is pretty extensive well more than mines anyways.

AwwSugar - I had this long write up but you just aren't worth it imo. You were nice for a bit then something changed and everything is different. You seem like a puppet with Plum as the puppet master.

CanwllCorfe - I love that you are a regular down in the electronica sub forums. I read your journal and get great recommendations on songs/djs that I had no clue about.

downwardspiral- even though we disagree on certain artists here and there I think our music tastes are a bit similar, I could be wrong though.

Dayvan Cowboy - I hate how people pick on you for no reason but you are a-okay in my books even though you can get a little annoying from time to time with the posting of links and random stuff in the shoutbox
