Bought this off Amazon for a mere $10. That's pretty damned cheap for this album, from what I can tell.

I'm a little late I know... But I never bothered to listen to The Smiths, I'd heard of them a while back, and I hear an occasional song on the radio, but after finally giving them a listen, not bad at all. The only question is, where do I go from here?

Definitely The Queen is Dead. It is by far their best album in my opinion. It's really the definitive Smiths album.

Don't listen to them, TQID is a horrible album packed full of filler. Go for Meat Is Murder.

^TQID IS beautiful. But I don't think I can choose between the first 3.
Anyway, they only have 4 studio albums, so I recommend you just get them all. And if you found yourself thirsty for more, get their singles compilations, that's another extra 30 songs.
