Recently gave that one a listen as well, I thought that it was pretty good considering that they make a lot of their instruments from scrap metal and such. Sort of reminds me of a modern day This Heat, and 'taint no bad thing.

Various Artists - Deutsche Elektronische Musik
Found this neat 2 CD compilation with a very informative 33 page booklet included. As you can probably guess it's a compilation covering that very loose umbrella term known as krautrock. It does a great job of covering all aspects of that period in German music with sounds ranging from hypnotic psychedelic rock, to meditative new-age music, to proto-techno. I'm already familiar with Can, NEU! and Tangerine Dream, who all feature here, but there's loads of artists that I've been either meaning to check out or never heard of before. The only thing that really lets it down is the unusual choice of Can tracks but otherwise it's an amazing listen.

All I've been listening too

I rarely listen to jazz in record form, but this album is so engrossing and just wraps me up each time I listen to it.

I just downloaded Local Natives' Hummingbird, and I really like what I'm hearing. It's definitely one to check out.

I've downloaded several albums over the past month but True by Violens has really caught my ear.

I'm a sucker for guitar bands that have the trippy neo-psychedelic Manchester sound of 1989.

For my last download I'd have to say ASAP Rocky's LiveLongA$AP . I had been hearing a lot about him from some of my friends, so I finally decided to check it out. He isn't the dopest out by any means, but he does have his own unique style and this is good in these days of saturated music. He's got a track called "Suddenly" that really stands out for me. Interesting tidbit tho, I caught an interview that he did on Youtube and he wasn't in costume so to speak. He clearly understands that the image he has on wax is not his real life. A lot more entertainers need to realize this, before it's too late.
