Fugazi: Instrument Soundtrack

Its their weakest album imo, but its still worth a few listens. There's alot of cool instrumental stuff, but it just doesn't have that rock and punk edge their earlier stuff had.

Disregarding the awful cover art that I could of made, the record is actually a return to form for Bowie. It's art rock to the core, and unlike an album I've heard this year so far.

It's really just a collection of short jams from their documentary, hence the "soundtrack" in the title. It was certainly never meant to be a proper album to compare with the others.

Psychedelic Afrobeat? Pretty cool.

Well that's uncanny, I got hold of Free Range 2 earlier this week.
And i've not heard anything they've done since Winchester Cathedral either.

I got Free Range II last week, still going back and forth to really pick out the differences. Luckily I listened to the original album a few times prior to hearing II and liked it quite a bit, but I might be leaning toward liking II better.

Oh snap, I didn't know even know they had a documentary haha sheet. I was grooving to it a bit but I wasn't expecting what I heard, so I was a bit underwhelmed initially. For a jam album it's pretty great then. Thanks for the info, I see the albums charm now.
