Seeing her in September. Badass record.
I can't stop listening to this. I have a few records in heavy rotation right now but this is something I've been listening to the most. To anyone not suaded by this, she sounds like an avant-garde Beyoncé with some TV On The Radio and experimentation thrown in. You know, something Beyoncé doesn't have the balls to pull off.

Parquet Courts | Human Performance

I never liked Parquet Courts. Not their first record, not their second, and not their record where they called themselves "Parkay Quarts". But these songs on this record make me consider checking them out again. I do prefer this mature Parquet sound though, I hope they stick with it.

Tori Amos - Live at Montreaux

Its so early, there's only songs from the first album. Still good and quite interesting to hear two different live versions of Winter - one from 1991, one from 1992. Cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit surprisingly came off as the least interesting moment on the disc.

Prince - The Black Album

Stumbled over this downtown in the only store that still sells records (all used records).
I've got around 19 Prince albums now. Despite that, I'm not the biggest fan, but I've liked all of them so far. This one seems decent, but not that remarkable considering the semi-legendary status it holds (or used to hold). Just a bunch of pretty standard Prince circa-late-80's pop workouts with a tendency towards repetitive dance beats. Fun, but I didn't find a stand-out track yet.

Prince - Come

This album is supposed to be pretty bad, as it is allegedly an album Prince did to get out of a contract. My first impression is that it is surprisingly soulful and has a pretty neat sound quality to it. So far, I'm enjoying this. Going to be hard getting the rest of his albums as I noticed they jumped up in price after his death. Amazon Uk used to offer lots of cheap Prince albums, but now it seems it will be tricky to get many of the ones I'm missing.

I downloaded this. Better not disappoint. I'm pretty sure I'll end up liking it if it's in the vein of like that Weeknd type of R&B. Whatever that genre is called.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

PBR=Pabst Blue Ribbon

It's a brand of beer. Usually associated with indie culture.
