I can tell quite quickly whether or not I will enjoy a given band's sound. If I do, I do, and if I don't, I don't.

The weirdest thing is that I don't think I have ever "grown to like" or "come to dislike" any artist upon repeated listenings. It's just the way my tastes work.

eh. I mean I can understand why, but I prefer not to waste my time listening to music that im not enjoying or invested in. with so much stuff out there I want to cut straight to the good stuff.

I think Chula said a couple pages ago that Sonic Youth sucks, and I'd just like to echo that. Apparently a member of that band (forgot who) said something along the lines of "Black metal musicians are pussies of the highest order."

****. That. They may be huge D&D nerds that would be dismantled upon being approached by a girl at a party, (most of them would never go to a party, but just pretend they would) but they are not pussies. Screw off.
