In your opinion bro.

The fact you don't dig this doesn't discount that I do as well as millions of people around the globe. Turn down your pretension knob.

^playing a guitar fast doesn't equal talent.

Stupid response. It's like saying driving fast (like Nascar) doesn't equal driving skills or talent.

Check this out and tell me there's no talent.

I know I know, people at your age would rather not deal with logic or anything that John Wayne didn't endorse. I'm reminded of that when my grandfather told me his reasoning behind him being racist.

Don't even know what track that is because I'm on my phone, but I never said that millions of people around the globe are incapable of having ****ty taste. I'm not about to respect religion just because a lot of people got duped into liking that either.

@Chula

^you miss the point then. Just because someone can move their hands quickly on a guitar doesn't automatically make them more talented than someone that can play technically. Plenty of great musicians don't need to play fast to be considered talented.

Stupid response. It's like saying that driving fast in a car and crashing directly into a pole equates to driving skills, and that good drivers disprove that there are really ****ty drivers who go fast.

Also, the driving fast argument falls more on my side then it does to defend your side, Chula, considering driving fast is also talentless.

Done beat you to that point. Should we put old man Vista to bed now? It's your turn to change him.

Tons of guys can play really fast ****ty. Kinda like the guy that floors his gas pedal and ends up hitting something. But there's a ****load of talent that goes into being able to play really fast and still make a musical statement.

Steve Morse
Allan Holdsworth
John McLaughlin
Guthrie Govan
Ron Thal
Shawn Lane
Paul Gilbert
Paco DeLucia
Albert Lee
Angel Romero

And hundreds more. It's late and I know you guys are just trying to yank my chain, but I've spent thousands of hours practicing on how to play really fast while staying musical. Good night boys.
