Fairly intense, but (not knocking it, just relating it to the past conversation) it's still not exactly "intimidating" or something that makes me creep to safety. I don't know from where Elph has this idea that I'm sucking my pacifier whenever slightly rowdy music rolls by. I like a lot of fairly low key and melodic music, sure, but that's not all there is to it. I feel like if anyone could show me music that I would find difficult to stomach, it would have to be something that doesn't attempt to be super abrasive. That's old hat.
I think that your tune would be different if you were at a performance as opposed to listening to it on your laptop speakers.

I never, ever use laptop speakers. But yeah, no doubt that would be more intense.

Church. Most metal is nerdy as ****. But some of it is legit oddball enough to be interesting even to you.

To be fair, eating a bucket of popcorn when you’re stoned is pretty fantastic.

Especially while listening to Dark Side of the Moon while watching the Wizard of Oz.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

I guess you can expand it to include them too for bands better than Greenday, but it wouldn't be much of a competition comparing Greenday to e.g. Kraftwerk. Electronic music pioneers versus Fake Punk pioneers, what sense does that make?

I only mentioned Neue Deutsche Welle bands who played in the style of Punk, only to make more of an apples to apples comparison. It was a play on words too. "Nothing is better than Greenday." "Nichts (NDW band) is better than Greenday."

Rec'ing him stuff he doesn't listen to allows the forum to construct a narrative that makes him look ever more closeminded. It's a spite rec.
