I can't remember that. So I guess no memorable discussion resulted from it last time.

I'm honestly just trying desperately for anything to start some discussion in this thread. I'm kinda bored right now.

Discuss.
I used to know a guy in high school who was extremely into AC/DC. I wouldn't call him obnoxious, but you could say he was somewhat myopically invested in older metal/hard rock bands like that. He definitely had some self-awareness when it came to the lack of diversity in the band's catalogue, though. Not that that made him any less enthusiastic about them

As for my own opinion on the band; they have some good stuff in their early material, I guess. Don't really care either way. I will say "Thunderstruck" is an annoying-ass song though

Another attempt at an unpopular opinion:

Waltari is a heavily underrated band in the category of somewhat experimental metal. I'm not sure they ever really got any attention outside of North European metal circles.

They would have been up there with the greats of underground metal by now if coincidences had been kinder to them.

I didn't really mean that part anyway. I've met some annoying AC/DC fans allright, but my sister's boyfriend is also a big fan and he's a great guy.

Pre-Brian AC/DC is less annoying, but I don't really like any of it.

I was about to mock you but I could totally see you doing that ironically and not realizing how actually lame it made you.

I used to love Waltari as a teenager and thought they were really wild and experimental.
Turns our they're just really boring. Huh.

Still one of my favorite metal bands tbh

Shame that the years made you blind to their divine amazingness, but at least you know who they are.

Ironically, they're not a very "metal" metal band, so to speak. They've got a lot of rock and pop elements to them. Often way more so than metal.

They also covered the Cure pretty good imo:
