I can't stand Sebadoh. I don't care for Guided by Voices either.

I'm not big on lo fi outside of Pavement, NMH and Dino Jr. A lot of it just sh*tty for the sake of sh*ttiness.

I stopped buying this around the 9000th time it's been said.

These aren't unpopular opinions at all. Except maybe Iron Maiden and Mumford & Sons and Los Campesinos, who I have never even heard of so they can't be that overrated.

The only bands I really agree with are Oasis, The Killers and Bon Jovi.

a lot of my friends are majorly into the above bands, so I'm generally surrounded by people who have a different opinion in relation to that.

AC/DC and U2 are the most despised bands in the known world. Odd, they may have sold a lot of records, but I don't really know a lot of people who like them.

Personally, I think both bands had a solid 8 album run before they really went downhill. Up until U2 did Pop and AC/DC did Flick of the Switch, they were good bands.

They're overexposed, but again they get a lot of flack, and undeserved because they're certainly not the worst bands out there who get a lot of radio play.

Overall I like half of those bands you listed, but if your friends really like Oasis, they must be pure evil..... or British, I don't know how anyone outside of the UK takes that band seriously.

they are British indeed. and they generally just have Godawful taste in music. I don't know how anyone full stop can take them seriously, let alone outside of the UK.
