Well, I'm new to this forum so excuse me if some of these opinions aren't quite as unpopular on this forum as I'd hoped

- R.E.M. is better than The Smiths
- Tom Waits is better than Bob Dylan
- Radiohead is overrated
- Big Star is the best band of the 70s
- The Velvet Underground isn't overrated
- Is This It was the best record of the noughties

I'd argue this except Tom Waits is probably the weirdest artist to talk about, mainly because you either adore him or despise him. I can't stand the guy's voice, but I'm also not a huge Dylan fan or anything.
